Poika on nyt eläinlääkärissä, kirurgin veitsen alla. Leikkaava lääkäri soitti aamulla ja kertoi kaikki asiat jotka voi mennä pieleen...ja niitä oli paljon. Sovittiin, että hän soittaa leikkaussalista, jos eteen tulee jotain sellaista jossa mielipiteelläni olisi jotain merkitystä. Ei ole soittoa kuulunut. Hyvä niin. Mutta toisaalta taas odotan, että minulle soitettaisiin ja kerrottais kaiken olevan ohi ja Pojan hyvässä kunnossa. Melko lailla rankkaa on tämä odotus ja epätietoisuus.

Lääkäri soitti. Hyviä ja huonoja uutisia...massa jonka piti olla syypää oksenteluun ei ollutkaan kiinnittynyt suolistoon vaan umpisuoleen, eikä näin ollen vaikutakkaan oksenteluun....hmmm...haimassa oli havaittavissa poikkeavuuksia, surkastumista ja se saattaisi olla se paha peikko. :(
Poika, our hairy four legged son is having a surgery (uh...he's not doing the surgery, he's on a surgery? sorry, not sure how to say it). The surgeon called me this morning and told everything that could go wrong and there was a lot of stuff that could go wrong...She'll call me during the surgery if there's something I need to decide...She hasn't yet. And that's good. But I'm also waiting for her to call and tell that everything went fine and Poika is doing great.
Okay, she just called...good and bad news...we're kind of back to square one...the thing they were supposed to cut off is not the thing making him throw up all the time...it wasn't attached to the...um...tubes...it was attached to something he doesn't need and they took the whole thing off. But his pancreas (latin name) is shrinked...
